A free crochet giant octopus pattern for a big, chunky blue octopus with a tall rounded head and eight thick curling tentacles. This amigurumi octopus has light blue spots on its head, big rosy cheeks, shiny 30 mm safety eyes and one tentacle raised in a friendly wave. It is worked in the round in single crochet with bulky yarn and a 6 mm hook, stands about 26 cm (10 in) tall and spans about 32 cm (12.5 in), with the tentacles stuffed lightly and sewn on around the base of the head.
