A free crochet frog pattern for a round green ornament in a striped elf hat, ready to hang on the Christmas tree. This amigurumi frog has big eye bumps, pink cheeks, a cream tummy and a red-and-green hat topped with a little gold bell and a closed gold loop. It is worked in the round in single crochet with fingering yarn and a 2 mm hook and stands about 7.8 cm (3 in) tall; the body is one stuffed ball, and the eye bumps, tummy, paws and hat are sewn on, with safety eyes with a glint (embroider them for small children).
