A free crochet frog pattern for a cheerful green frog dressed for a rainy day in a yellow raincoat, a wide-brimmed rain hat and boots. This amigurumi frog has big bulging eyes, pink cheeks and a wide smile, and its coat flares like a little dress with a darker collar, a front band and three brown buttons. It is worked in the round in single crochet with DK yarn and a 2.5 mm hook and stands about 14.5 cm (5.7 in) tall; the coat and collar start from chain rings and slip over the body, the rest is sewn on, with safety eyes. Follow it row by row with stitch counts and turn the interactive 3D model to see where every piece goes.

1 sc ≈ 4 mm wide, 1 round ≈ 3.6 mm tall (10 cm ≈ 25 sc × 28 rounds); yarn about 1.9 mm thick. The gauge sets the size of the toy; crochet tightly so the stuffing does not show.
Continuous spiral rounds. Don't join. Move a stitch marker up every round.
Safety eyes and noses go in before the piece is stuffed and closed (see the pieces above); embroidery is easier before the piece is sewn on.
