Safety eyes and noses go in before the piece is stuffed and closed (see the pieces above); embroidery is easier before the piece is sewn on.

• Embroidery in nose thread (on the head) (2, symmetric: the toy's left side is described, the right is its mirror image), straight stitches through: (in round 18, 2.5 st from the centre front line, toward the toy's left ) → (between rounds 16 and 17, 3.5 st from the centre front line, toward the toy's left ) → (in round 16, 4.5 st from the centre front line, toward the toy's left ) → (between rounds 16 and 17, 5.5 st from the centre front line, toward the toy's left ) → (in round 18, 6.5 st from the centre front line, toward the toy's left ).
• Satin stitch (on the head) (2, symmetric: the toy's left side is described, the right is its mirror image): in cream thread, a oval about 6.5 mm wide and 4.5 mm tall, horizontal stitches; centred between rounds 13 and 14, 4 st from the centre front line, toward the toy's left .
• Safety nose, triangle, 10×7.5 mm (on the muzzle): in round 1, on the centre top line . Colour nose #1c1a1a.
• Embroidery in nose thread (on the muzzle), straight stitches through: (between rounds 1 and 2, on the centre bottom line ) → (in round 2, on the centre bottom line ).
• Satin stitch (on the muzzle): in mouth thread, a triangle about 12.5 mm wide and 8 mm tall, horizontal stitches; centred in round 2, on the centre bottom line .
• Satin stitch (on the muzzle): in tongue thread, a oval about 6.5 mm wide and 4 mm tall, horizontal stitches; centred between rounds 2 and 3, on the centre bottom line .
