A free crochet shark pattern for a chubby blue-gray amigurumi shark that lies on its tummy and grins with three tiny teeth. This shark plushie has a white belly and chin, a tall dorsal fin, a two-lobed tail, little side fins and stitched gill slits, plus pink cheeks to keep it friendly. The body is one piece worked in the round in single crochet with DK yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, the lightly stuffed fins are flattened and sewn on, and with 12 mm safety eyes it is about 9.5 cm (3.7 in) tall and 10 cm (4 in) long. Follow the row-by-row pattern with stitch counts and turn the interactive 3D model to check every fin.

1 sc ≈ 4 mm wide, 1 round ≈ 3.6 mm tall (10 cm ≈ 25 sc × 28 rounds); yarn about 1.9 mm thick. The gauge sets the size of the toy; crochet tightly so the stuffing does not show.
Continuous spiral rounds. Don't join. Move a stitch marker up every round.
Safety eyes and noses go in before the piece is stuffed and closed (see the pieces above); embroidery is easier before the piece is sewn on.
