A free crochet Christmas ornament pattern for a small round penguin in a red Santa hat with a hanging loop on the pompom. This amigurumi penguin has a white heart-shaped face, an orange beak and feet, pink cheeks, a tiny green scarf and a hat with a bobbly white brim. It is worked in the round in single crochet with fingering yarn and a 2 mm hook and stands about 9 cm (3.4 in) tall including the loop; it has small safety eyes, and the flippers, feet, scarf, hat and pompom are sewn on.
