A free crochet bear keychain pattern for a tiny honey-brown bear hugging a red heart. This amigurumi bear has round ears, a cream muzzle, rosy cheeks and a red chain loop on top for a keyring. The head and body are worked as one round ball in single crochet with fingering yarn and a 2 mm hook, then the muzzle, ears, paws, feet and heart are sewn on, and it ends up about 6 cm (2.2 in) tall. The page gives you the row-by-row pattern with stitch counts and an interactive 3D model to check every piece, so it makes a quick small gift for Valentine's Day.

1 sc ≈ 3 mm wide, 1 round ≈ 2.7 mm tall (10 cm ≈ 33 sc × 37 rounds); yarn about 1.4 mm thick. The gauge sets the size of the toy; crochet tightly so the stuffing does not show.
Continuous spiral rounds. Don't join. Move a stitch marker up every round.
Safety eyes and noses go in before the piece is stuffed and closed (see the pieces above); embroidery is easier before the piece is sewn on.
