A free crochet cow pattern for a big, chubby black-and-white cow plush that is made for hugging. This amigurumi cow has a pink muzzle, thick cream horns, floppy black ears, a red collar with a gold bell and a head tilted just a little. It is worked in the round in single crochet with bulky yarn and a 6 mm hook, ends up about 33 cm (13 in) tall, and uses 30 mm safety eyes with the muzzle, patches and legs sewn on. Follow it row by row with stitch counts and turn the interactive 3D model to see where every piece goes.

1 sc ≈ 7.5 mm wide, 1 round ≈ 6.8 mm tall (10 cm ≈ 13 sc × 15 rounds); yarn about 3.6 mm thick. The gauge sets the size of the toy; crochet tightly so the stuffing does not show.
Continuous spiral rounds. Don't join. Move a stitch marker up every round.
Safety eyes and noses go in before the piece is stuffed and closed (see the pieces above); embroidery is easier before the piece is sewn on.
