This free balloon dog crochet pattern turns simple stuffed tubes into the classic twisted balloon-animal dog, all in one bright pink. The amigurumi balloon dog has a tapered snout with a tiny knot at the tip, two round ears, a perky tail and slim pale-pink felt highlights that give every segment a glossy, just-inflated look. Each piece is a closed capsule worked in the round in single crochet with DK yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, stuffed firmly and sewn end to end; the dog stands about 12 cm (5 in) tall.
